For the uninitiated: HTML is a standard language that provides a way to present information using a structured language. Basically, you write programs to "handle" HTML. So it's a programming language for your web browser! There's a lot more to it than that, but this is the foundation. Why is HTML useful? It's possible to express any kind of information and manipulate its format with simple code. You can get some pretty complex stuff done with HTML. Here's a quick example: **```<div>Hello world</div>```**

Para los no iniciados: HTML es un lenguaje estándar que proporciona una forma de presentar la información utilizando un lenguaje estructurado. Básicamente, se escriben programas para "manejar" el HTML. Es decir, un lenguaje de programación para el navegador web. Hay mucho más que eso, pero esta es la base. ¿Por qué es útil el HTML? Es posible expresar cualquier tipo de información y manipular su formato con un código sencillo. Se pueden hacer cosas muy complejas con HTML. Before I get started, I'd like to define what CSS stands for. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets, and it's what makes websites look the way they do. Essentially, CSS is used to describe the way a webpage is styled. This can involve anything from altering the colors and fonts to the overall layout of the page. So, what is the difference between CSS and HTML? CSS (which stands for Cascading Style Sheets) and HTML (which stands for Hyper Text Markup Language) are essentially different ways to describe how a website is built. HTML refers to the HTML code that tells the browser how to display an HTML document and how to interact with it. On the other hand, CSS refers to the style sheet that allows a browser to alter the way a website looks.

Antes de empezar, me gustaría definir qué significa CSS. CSS significa Cascading Style Sheets (hojas de estilo en cascada), y es lo que hace que los sitios web tengan el aspecto que tienen. Básicamente, el CSS se utiliza para describir el estilo de una página web. Esto puede implicar cualquier cosa, desde alterar los colores y las fuentes hasta el diseño general de la página. ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre CSS y HTML? An HTML tag can be used to add items to a page. They can either be used in combination with CSS or JavaScript.

En mi búsqueda por unificar mi pasión en ayudar a los demás con mi recién descubierta afición por la tecnología, descubrí lo poderoso que puede ser el uso adecuado de los CRM impulsados por una plataforma bien establecida.*

A CRM (also known as customer relationship management) is a way for companies to manage and monitor all relationships and interactions between its customers. It facilitates the process by which a business can allocate and monitor client data to better assist the business in their growth. The results of successful CRM implementation results in heightened organization, efficiency, better time management, and most importantly impressed clients.

Un CRM (también conocido como gestión de las relaciones con los clientes) es una forma de que las empresas gestionen y controlen todas las relaciones e interacciones entre sus clientes. Facilita el proceso por el cual una empresa puede asignar y supervisar los datos de los clientes para ayudar mejor a la empresa en su crecimiento. Los resultados de una implementación exitosa de CRM se traducen en una mayor organización, eficiencia, mejor gestión del tiempo y, lo más importante, clientes satisfechos

### What is TrailHead/Salesforce?

Okay, so if the acronym “CRM” sounds like a generalized term used by techies to describe an unknown technology only accessible to those who are well versed with servers, databases, or whatever “JavaScript” may be. Then you’re in the right place to find out more. Sure, CRM may sound intimidating but just wait until you run into terms like cloud-based storage, visualforce, apex, integration, lighting components ️⚡ what is all that stuff?

To answer plainly, those some of the various parts that make up Salesforce. Which in itself is a cloud-based CRM. Also known as SaaS oh boy, there’s another acronym. This one isn’t as bad though! It stands for software as a service. Which means Salesforce hosts their software on their servers, which is then accessed by its customers through the internet. Making it accessible to many industries and businesses.

Trailhead is the platform created by Salesforce to train and deploy a range of Salesforce administrators, developers, and consultants. Although that is just a generalized category, within each path, there are a multitude of skills to learn and practice. Not only that, you are given badges as a show of completion of each challenge. Which kind of “gamifies” the approach of learning awesome skills through the platform. Superbadges are awarded to those who complete real-world challenges within Trailhead.

In conclusion, being able to develop and program only makes sense if it solves a real world problem. Learning and using a technology such as Salesforce make it possible to reach business who are wanting to connect with and grow alongside their customer base. I will certainly be pursuing more trailhead challenges and keep you all posted on my findings.

Bueno, si el acrónimo "CRM" suena como un término generalizado utilizado por los tecnólogos para describir una tecnología desconocida solo accesible para aquellos que están bien versados en servidores, bases de datos, o lo que sea "JavaScript". Entonces estás en el lugar adecuado para saber más. Claro, CRM puede sonar intimidante, pero espera hasta que te encuentres con términos como almacenamiento basado en la nube, visualforce,  apex,  integración, componentes de lightning ⚡ ️¿qué son todas esas cosas?

Para responder de forma sencilla, esas son algunas de las diversas partes que componen Salesforce. Que en sí mismo es un CRM basado en la nube. También conocido como SaaS, ok ok si ahí va otro acrónimo. Pero este no es tan malo. Significa "software como servicio". Lo que significa que Salesforce almacena su software en sus servidores, a los que luego acceden sus clientes a través de Internet. Lo que hace que sea accesible para muchos sectores y empresas.

Trailhead es la plataforma creada por Salesforce para formar y desplegar una serie de administradores, desarrolladores y consultores especializados en Salesforce. Aunque esto es solo una categoría generalizada, dentro de cada ruta hay multitud de habilidades que aprender y practicar. Y no solamente eso, sino que se otorgan insignias/placas como muestra de haber completado cada reto. Lo que en cierto modo "gamifica" el enfoque de aprender habilidades increíbles a través de la plataforma. Las Superinsignias se les premia a quienes completan los desafíos del mundo real dentro de Trailhead.

En conclusión, ser capaz de desarrollar y programar solo tiene sentido si llega a resolver un problema del mundo real. El aprendizaje y el uso de una tecnología como Salesforce permiten llegar a las empresas que desean conectar con su base de clientes y crecer junto a ellos. Sin duda, seguiré buscando más retos en Trailhead y les mantendré informados de mis descubrimientos.

Next.js es un framework minimalista para aplicaciones React renderizadas al backend. Once you're up and running there are a lot of benefits to Next.js. The most obvious benefit is how well it adds more structure to your application. Normally, when building React applications, you typically have to deal with a huge amount of JavaScript code spread across assets and utilities. With Next.js, you can compact this up into one file for your entire project. At the same time, you have a ton of configuration options that allow you to customize how your application behaves.

Next.js is published as open source and written entirely in ES6. That means you don’t need any transpiling or JavaScript optimization tricks to use the framework. Every part of Next.js is consistent with the ES6 specification, and it makes it extremely easy for you to use the framework. There are a lot more ES6 features that you can leverage, but for now, Next.js is a perfect place to start because it’s small, consistent, and powerful.

Components are reusable and composable elements within a JavaScript component hierarchy. Using components allows you to separate concerns and organize your code into logical pieces.

Here’s a great example:

When we create a React component, we can set its props up in one place and pass them down to the children. It’s common for people to pass along props to children when creating a component, but there are times where we don’t want to do that. Some props can be important to the component’s behavior, but other props are used by React to determine how to render the component. For example, we’d pass down the text prop as the underlying DOM string to determine how our text child should be rendered. Next.js comes with a number of built-in components and provide you with a ton of configuration options to create specialized components.

Una vez que estás en marcha hay un montón de beneficios de Next.js. El beneficio más obvio es lo bien que agrega mucho más estructura a tu aplicación. Normalmente, cuando se construyen aplicaciones React, se suele tener que lidiar con una enorme cantidad de código JavaScript repartido entre assets y utilidades. He aquí un gran ejemplo:

Cuando creamos un componente React, podemos establecer sus accesorios en un sitio y pasarlos a los hijos (children). Es común que la gente pase los props a los hijos cuando se crea un componente, pero hay veces que no queremos hacer eso. Algunos props pueden ser importantes para el comportamiento del componente, pero otros props son utilizados por React para determinar cómo renderizar el componente. Por ejemplo, pasaríamos la prop de texto como la cadena DOM string para determinar cómo se debe renderizar nuestro (child) de texto. Next.js viene con un número de componentes incorporados y te proporciona un montón de opciones de configuración para crear componentes especializados.
